Animals in Rhythms: 5Rhythms Series: August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Every Tuesday 8:00 - 9:30pm
FACEBOOK PAGE EVENT
Join us to dance the rhythms of the animals as it relates to the 5 rhythms. An inspiration from nature and the long days of summer. And big gratitude to our colleague Meaghan Williams who inspired us.
We will start the first Tuesday with Flowing and the rhythms of Feline and Serpentine.
Tuesday, August 1: Feline/Serpentine
Tuesday, August 8: Canine/Equine
Tuesday, August 15: Simian/Amphibian
Tuesday, August 22: Avian/Apian
Tuesday, August 29: Human/Blooming
5Rhythms transcends dance. The movement is the medicine, the meditation and the metaphor. Everybody is welcomed. There is no need to have any particular physical background or to consider ourselves dancers or not. We keep moving with the music and the dance will come to us. We dance until the dancer disappears and only the dance remains.
